We are seeking a high-level generalist auction cataloger.
Ideal candidate is someone who has vast knowledge spanning many fields including Fine Art, Furniture, Decorative Arts, Jewelry, Rugs, Collectibles etc.
The ideal candidate would be proficient in researching past sales and comparable and would also be able to identify property, describe, and value it.
We conduct monthly Uncurated decorative and fine art auctions and have our higher end curated auction every other month.
You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and being able to prioritize is a must.
You must be proficient in excel, word etc.
Responsibilities include:
Researching similar items and sales of items Identifying and describing property to be sold at auction Writing catalog descriptions Condition reports Proof reading catalogs Participating in auctions and previews Compensation and hours are negotiable depending on experience and performance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
